We recently told you about the upcoming version of Sn0wbreeze, iH8sn0w has released Sn0wbreeze 2.5.1 for untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak. Apart from fixing number of minor bugs the developer has added a number of options in updated version. The new version brings full support for jailbreaking Apple TV 2G, Animate (animated boot logos) by the Chronic Dev Team, Cydia 1.1.1 and other bug fixes. Here is the official changelog provided by the developer: Cydia 1.1.1 is now pre-installed. iPhone 3GS users can now flash the iPad 06.15.00 baseband. Animate (Animated Boot Logos) by the Chronic Dev-Team is now supported. Added afc2 Apple TV 2 is now fully supported. Added Apple TV 2 DFU Instructions. YouTube issues resolved on hacktivated devices. iPhone 3GS old-bootrom issues fixed (Error 37). The developer has also provided information for the Ultrasn0w users: ULTRASN0W USERS:There is a temp. fix available on Pushfix’s Cydia repo (http://cydia.pushfix.info)for getting ultrasn0w to work on preserved basebands on 4.3.1.[It does not fix the iPhone 4 single bar issue though!] Sn0wbreeze 2.5 can create custom firmware iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G on Windows OS. Ultrasn0w can be used to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.1 on basebands 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00. iPhone 3GS users can upgrade to iPad 06.15.00 basebands and after that use Ultrasn0w for the unlock. Other than the mentioned basebands, it will not work. The untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 is based on an exploit found by iPhone security expert and hacker Stefan Esser, who demoed it on his iPod touch last week before handing it over to the Dev-Team.
