Fans have been waiting to see how Anne Hathaway would embody the role of Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, and on Friday they got their first taste.

The image above, from the film’s official site, shows the actress all suited up on a crotch rocket and ready to roll. But is this Catwoman or is it Selina Kyle? As /Film points out, this photo of the madam miscreant is named “selina_kyle.jpg,” so this could be the villainess out of costume. Or it could just be that Nolan’s Catwoman prowls around sans ears.

Previously there’s been insider information that the Catwoman costume would be more utilitarian and less, well, S&M than the Michelle Pfeiffer or Halle Berry takes on the character (maybe Nolan is leaving that look to Bane).

Whether this is Catwoman or just Selina Kyle, it’s nice to see a more official image from The Dark Knight Rises, as opposed to the random photos being snapped around the film’s Pittsburgh set. (SpoilerTV published unofficial images of Hathaway on the Batpod Friday as well.)
