There will be a Mac App Store in Mac OS X Lion. It will be much the same as the current App Store found in iOS devices.

Apple says the various Apps will be managed in something called the Launchpad. There will be a 70/30 split between free and paid Apps. It will essentially be the same thing for developers, too, warts and all.

And one more thing… Steve used his classic line today to announced the new MacBook Air, a refresh of their ultrathin computer with the addition of an 11.6-inch smaller edition. But the big story is that Apple views this as a Macbook meets the iPad: ” instant-on”, smaller, and unibody. This is going to be good.
