It’s the shot seen ’round the internet.

On Monday, less than a day after President Barack Obama announced to the world that Osama bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan, a photo of his national security team watching the secret mission unfold from the safety of the White House Situation Room was uploaded by the government.

It’s an intense photo of a historic moment — so naturally the internet made a joke out of it.

Within hours, threads popped up on Boing Boing and Reddit showing countless new versions of the picture, photoshopped to include everything from the royal wedding flower girl to, sigh, The Situation. (Wired.com alum Alexis Madrigal posted a nice collection of them.)
